Boys’ Statewide Basketball Poll: January 4th, 2017

Below is the TSSN Statewide Hoops Pools for January 4th, 2017, which is based off of scores, statistics, and standings from January 3rd and prior.

The poll encompasses record, standings, and scores as the TSSN staff accounts for only 1/3 of the poll voting.  The other 2/3rds are based off of polls from MaxPreps.com and CoachT.com.  This is done to stay as unbiased as possible in a geographic sense.

Polls are taken for the A, AA, and AAA classifications for each side of the gender spectrum.

This is NOT the AP Poll, but we hope that the results of this poll are very similar to what the AP Polls would be.  The purpose of this poll is to rank the best teams in the state regardless of district/region ties or chances of making the State Tournament.

And we begin with our first Statewide Poll!
